I have a love/hate relationship with this show. I originally
only cared because I love Butch Walker (he's producing the CD and they trotted
him out for the first show). I also love Gilby, such a great guitarist, way better
than the likes of Supernova (screw the Supernova CD and do yourself a favor and
buy Pawnshop Guitars or Swag). There is so much to hate about this show
(like most of the contestants or the dreaded Tommyhawk). However, this show is
like a bad train wreck that I can't turn away from.
When I first started originally watching I thought for sure Dilana would win.
However, she has proven herself to be quite the tool over the past few weeks,
not to mention her horrific rendition of I Want You to Want Me.
I didn’t get a chance to watch last night's episode yet. With that being said,
I think either Lukas or Toby will win. I don't really like either of them, but
I think Toby is the better choice than the Hot Topic poster boy Lukas.
As I've said before, catch Butch Walker on tour, get his new CD, The Rise and
Fall of Butch Walker and the Lets Go Out Tonights, and grab a few of Gilby's
CD's and let Supernova become a distant memory.
